The Ac!d is in my Tool and made me lose my hair!
A few weeks ago, I purchased a new PSP(core) and started playing the games I had collected inbetween my down time for having a PSP. So far I have only played Metal Gear Ac!d 2 for any amount of time since getting back into the PSP scene. I just finished it the other day and was really happy with my purchase. It like it's predocessor is a card battler turn-based strategy game. All movement and action is done with cards that interact with the characters on screen. Some cool things is that there are 3D videos. It is like those stereo pictures but with glasses that fit over the PSP and there are just two different images. Niffty effect. The gameplay has been tweaked a bit for the good. Not much has really changed. There are more cards, a completely new story and a new character design. It lasted over 20 hours and was a blast the entire time. I played through on Easy first accidently(longish stupid story) and am not going throw on normal. I am trying to collect all 565 cards. I have well over 400 so I am getting there. I give the game two thumbs way up.
This weekend I saw Silent Hill with my friend and we both enjoyed it. It was totally crazy, some very sick parts and weird mind screws. It was kind of like the Resident Evil movies. Not basedo n the games per se, but set in the same world. The Pyramidhead was insane! That movie was creepy as all get out.
I also purchased an import game, Tales of Eternia and two JPN movies for my PSP. I will be reviewing them as soon as I get them in. I am so excited about playing ToE. I never played it on the PSX and really enjoy the Tales series. That reminds me that I need to pick up the Tales game for GBA. I also have Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children on it's way to my house.
Last night I picked up Tool's lastest CD. It is called 10,000 Days. It should have been called badass. Infact that is what I labeled Tool as in iTunes. 10,000 Days has 11 songs of rocking out Tool music. They all sound really great and is everything I have been waiting to hear from them. The packaging is what really stands out from this latest release. It is the same technology that is used for the MGA2 3D for the CD insert. It is just insanely cool. Vibrant colors and awesome effects make this album art really impact the sense to keep it fresh in my mind. Tool has always gone for weird and off kilter art in their inserts. Undertow had a cow licking it's own butt and AEnima had California dropping off into the ocean. The music and art work make this CD my favorite CD I bought this year so far. Might be the only one too though so yeah.
Finally, my hair. Yesterday I went home and was hot so i tried drinking water. That didn't help. Then I tried to take a bath, nothing. Then I realized what was making me hot was my hair. So I cut it all off.[/Pedro] I will have pics up later in the week. It is all gone and Nikki is going to kill me. Sorry dear, at least it will grow back. Well that is about all. Sorry for such a short and boring entry. Not much to say.
